The Photosonic Orchestra ... and more !

Hi everybody,

this weekend I'll be recording / producing Fabio Cascio' electric bass didattic video, outside Dublin city.

Meanwhile I'm putting together the pieces to start reharsing my new project, 'The Photosonic Orchestra', a color sound ensemble that uses my copyrighted 'photosonic software' to engange the audience in a kind of music that is 'performed choosing the chromatic qualities of sound'.

During mid September, Italian songwriter Max Ciogli will come to Dublin to start a color-sound collaboration; Max is currently attending the Italian Sanremo Music Festival lab, and his new single 'E' già domani' will be on radio soon.

Photos are coming soon ....

Inside Dublin's Ulysses

Hello mates,

I had performed at Dublin's Andrew Lane Theatre for the 'Dublin After Tea' event organized by the Italian factory; a 4 hours long VJ set using my Mac, a camera and two wonderful wall projectors.

Although I had spotted a "Gerry Leonard - clone" (with family!) at HMV, and meet a gifted percussion player named Ian in the Grafton Street area, I'm still in the process of getting myself together, after moving from wonderful New York ...

I'm producing (and playing some guitar parts) in the first solo EP by Italian bass player Fabio Cascio (a true Dublin legend), I'll put up some pictures of the rehearsals soon.

... meanwhile I had moved to Rathmines (an Irish version of Brooklyn's Bedford Ave.), I'm not focusing on playing live, but working on improving my 'photosonic guitar' prototypes and dedicating half of my day to work in 'a bank' ... as bill collector!

Almost every monday I join the in - house - band for the 'Jam at the Blue Goose' (at the Blue Goose, in the center of Dublin city), lots of good music and friendly people, plus the food is amazing, so if you're around and want to play a song, request a tune or simply say 'hi', just show up between 9.00 and midnight, and we'll be there.
