I had signed one week ago with Elec Trip Records (distributed by EMI - Kent) a very cool Turkish indie label, plus signing a license deal with Muzak Inc. for 15 instrumental tunes (including 'just friends?' and 'strawberry lips'); I am kind of freaking out waiting for the answers from Universal and Deep Emotions (nice Indian publishing company), I feel like a Napoleone - wannabe!
I had meet Matt Treasure from Milan and chatted with Japanese friends on MSN, while Charles from NBC is putting me on the list for a cool film scoring test to be made using 007 unedited video footage ... groovy ;-)
while it seems PHOTOSONIC didn't make it this year for the Sound Unseen Film Festival (I'm still waiting Emily's email as she had asked in a first time for a promo copy of my movie, but she has never emailed back...)
I am planning to release late summer an ambient EP based on some ideas I had got while waiting at the departure gates of European and Asian airports ... the pre production has started one year ago while I was hanging out at the KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) with a paper and a pen ... it doesn't have anything to do with the Brian Eno concept album. I will post some cuts as soon as the project will take a serious shape ...
I remember: during 2005, at the RipArte artfair (Rome, Italy), a 3 dvd set project called 'Noise - White - Pink - Blue' was presented for MVG Gallery. Here are some shoots from the videos (a totally empiric study on the video feedback signal used as filter effect for guitar sounds):

from White Noise; the effect was really close to some Arp sculptures!
Blue Noise is water like waves that crashes at the bottom of the screen ... the sound effect is aquatic and liquid too.
Pink Noise is more dreamy, horizontal and vertical pink lines that shakes following and electric wind pulse ...

Not very sure about my actual relation with Mja ... it's a trouble making situation really close to a bomb that is goin' to explode pretty soon ... (woa!) at least thanks to this situation I had the pleasure to enjoy pure inspiration and record 'just friends?', 'the lovers' and 'strawberry lips' in less then a week.
